Peace Officers Memorial Day - May 15
Peace Officers Memorial Day is celebrated every year on May 15 to pay tribute to local, state, and federal law enforcement officers who honor their commitment and duty to serve the people by safeguarding life and property, by protecting them against violence and disorder, and by protecting the innocent against deception and the weak against oppression. We especially honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the fulfillment of their duties. We thank all peace officers for their service and sacrifice.
