Instructional Content Opt-Out Form
Board Policy 6141.2: Recognition Of Religious Beliefs And Customs
Per district policy, parents/guardians may, using the board-approved instructional content opt-out form, opt their students out of instruction on the basis of their religious beliefs.
When submitting the written request to the school site principal, parents/guardians must include:
- The specific instructional content to opt out of.
- The specific religious belief, custom, or practice it substantially interferes with.
- How it interferes, including any relevant grade level or individual student characteristics.
