Helmers Students are Learning How to Read
At Helmers, we celebrate students learning how to read.
Teachers in K–2 are trained in the science of reading with Orton Gillingham, and our students learn their letters and sounds with a multi-sensory approach. Here we highlight writing in sand and writing on bumpy boards. Students are proud to share their red words!
