The Saugus Union School District has been named to the Educational Results Partnership’s (ERP) 2025 Honor Roll list of California’s top-performing school districts!
This is a phenomenal achievement that recognizes our district’s commitment to closing achievement gaps and ensuring all students, especially those from higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged backgrounds, are successful.
Why This Recognition Matters
The honor roll is a prestigious designation presented in partnership with business leaders across the state, including the Los Angeles and San Francisco Chambers of Commerce. It’s one of the only school recognition programs based solely on objective student achievement data.
- Top Performance: We are recognized as a high-performing district that is successfully preparing students with the fundamental reading, writing, and math skills that are critical for success in the workforce and in life.
- Elite Group: Only 158 school districts in California, approximately 21 percent of all eligible districts, made the 2025 Honor Roll.
- Data Driven: The results are based on student outcomes from the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for the 2023–2025 academic years.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our:
- Exceptional teachers and staff who are focused on using data to drive student learning.
- Supportive parents who partner with us every day.
- Hardworking students who are rising to the challenge!
We are honored to be recognized for driving a culture where all students thrive. Thank you for being an essential part of the Saugus Union community!
