National Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized from September 15, 2025, to October 15, 2025. The September–October period covers a wide range of independence days for the Latin American countries of Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and Mexico. National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the achievements, history, traditions, and cultural diversity of the nation’s Hispanic/Latino/Latinx Americans and acknowledges their influence on politics, the economy, and the social and cultural life throughout the United States. This year’s theme, “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” highlights the importance of celebrating the deep cultural traditions that shape Hispanic and Latino identity while embracing the promise and creativity of future generations.
