Dear Parents and Community Members,
School districts across California have implemented the current school funding structure known as the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) as authorized by the state.  With this funding comes the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) required by state law which is the District's three-year plan for addressing the state's eight priority areas for student achievement.  We are currently updating year three of our 2017-2020 three-year plan.
We invite you to review the draft of this year's 2019-20 plan before it is recommended to the Governing Board for approval.  The plan will be available for review on our district website.  If you prefer to read a print copy, you may come into the district office to do so.
If you would like to make comments or ask questions about the plan, you may submit them by letter, addressed to 24930 Avenue Stanford, Santa Clarita, CA 91350/ Attn:  Dr. Isa De Armas.  Please be sure to include your name and a return address or email address.  All comments and questions will be answered in writing only.
On Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 PM at the District Office, the SUSD Governing Board will hold a public hearing on the LCAP.  You are also invited to attend that meeting and offer your comments.
Thank you
