As principal of West Creek Academy, I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your children. West Creek Academy is a K-6 elementary school located in Valencia, California and part of the Saugus Union School District. While maintaining an emphasis on high academic achievement and positive character traits, West Creek also offers students a unique educational experience that focuses on instrumental music and performing arts. The arts, with an emphasis in music, will provide opportunities for West Creek to connect with students from other countries, cultures, and classrooms. Foreign language, a secondary focus, will further support the relationships made through music.
Everyone at West Creek Academy has made a commitment to provide the best educational program possible for our students. The excellent quality of our program is a reflection of our highly skilled and committed staff. Our rigorous academic program is balanced with expectations that promote respect, cooperation, courtesy and acceptance of others. Additionally, West Creek parents and community provide an extremely high level of support and interaction. Parents are involved in many capacities including our wonderful PTA, School Site Council, in our workroom and classrooms.

The West Creek Academy staff has been working diligently to make sure that we are prepared for the arrival of students on Wednesday, August 17. Class lists will be posted on the front office window on Tuesday, August 16 at 4:00 PM. Much time and effort is given to placing students in classes. It is the goal of the staff to place a child where he/she will be most successful. To help ensure that classrooms are evenly balanced and comply with state and federal laws, requests for classroom placements are not accepted. Due to changing enrollment at the beginning of the school year, all children are assigned to classrooms on a temporary basis. Changes within the first few weeks of school may be necessary to accommodate unforeseen enrollment changes. If adjustments are necessary they will be based on teacher recommendations and administrative input in order to best meet student needs. Thank you for your understanding.

- 6:30 - 6:50 Parents to Classroom & Students on the Yard with Mr. Pak and Campus Supervisors
- 6:50 - 7:00 Parents join students on the yard (Please join us on the yard for an Ice Cream Social provided by our PTA.)
