News & Announcements
The CalPERS Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) health plans (PERS Select/Choice/Care) are pleased to announce an improved incentive program to encourage members to take the MyHealth Assessment online health assessment. MyHealth Assessment is Anthem Blue Cross’ online health assessment, a questionnaire that captures the member’s lifestyle habits and health history. The assessment gives the member a report outlining how the member is stacking up health wise. CalPERS along with their health partner, Anthem Blue Cross, are offering an additional incentive to take the MyHealth Assessment.
PERS Select members who complete the MyHealth Assessment will be awarded a $100 debit card. The reward will be limited to one per family per year.
Any CalPERS PPO member (Select/Choice/Care) who completes the MyHealth Assessment will be entered into a monthly drawing for twenty (20) $250 debit cards. The reward will be limited to one per family per year.
CalPERS and Anthem Blue Cross believe it is worth your time and attention to complete the assessment for the following reasons:
- Help keep smaller health issues from turning into big problems down the road. The MyHealth Assessment helps flag potential health risks before they occur or before they can cause serious problems that interfere with your life.
- Help set you up for success. Setting realistic health goals makes you more likely to achieve them. And that kind of success feels really good.
- Provide more help than just a health score. The MyHealth Assessment offers additional wellness information and online resources. You even get a separate health report that you can take to your next doctor’s visit to set new goals and action steps – or maybe even get a pat on the back for your successes.
Participate by going to the MyHealth Assessment at anthem.com/ca. Just register, click on the Health and Wellness tab, and then click MyHealth Assessment. Or you may click on the link for more program information - My Health Assessment
